Nadav Rakocz is an AI scientist whose research combines causal inference with generative AI. Before Noetive, he was a Lead AI Scientist at OptumAI, where he built AI methods to improve patient health and led projects across the full lifecycle — from creating datasets and developing models to designing pilots, running experiments, and deploying systems into production — work that began as a doctoral internship and produced several patents. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from UCLA, where his research focused on machine learning for healthcare and was published in the Nature portfolio and at top-tier conferences, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
